After the game drive, return for lunch before beginning the scenic drive south towards Ishasha, the remote southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The route takes you through changing landscapes, from open savannah to woodland and forested areas. Ishasha is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions, which are often seen resting on large fig and acacia trees overlooking the plains.
After checking in at your lodge, head out for an afternoon/evening game drive in search of the famous lions and other wildlife.
End the day with a relaxing African safari sundowner, enjoying the sunset over the Ishasha wilderness.

Gorilla trekking is an adventure through dense vegetation, steep slopes and beautiful rainforest landscapes. The trek can take several hours depending on the location of the gorilla family.
Once you locate the gorillas, spend your allocated viewing time observing their behavior and taking photographs from a safe and respectful distance. Watching these critically endangered great apes in their natural habitat is an experience that remains unforgettable.
After returning from the forest, enjoy lunch and some time to relax.
