ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After completing airport formalities, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your accommodation for overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi City Tour

Today’s city tour includes a visit to b, where guests can see young elephants interacting with their keepers during feeding and mud baths.

You will also visit the Karen Blixen National Museum, linked to the famous film Out of Africa, before continuing to the nearby Jock Leslie-Melville Nature Education Centre, a sanctuary for Rothschild’s giraffes. Guests can feed giraffes from the central feeding platform and learn more about them.

Day 3: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

Drive Time: Approximately 4 hours

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, your home for the next three nights. You may also choose to fly from Nairobi to the park.

Amboseli is one of Kenya’s top safari destinations and is well known for views of Mount Kilimanjaro, large elephant herds, and wildlife such as buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, and antelopes.

Day 4: Game Drive & Masai Cultural Village, Amboseli National Park

Day 5: Balloon Safari Adventure & Boat Trip on Lake Amboseli

Start the day with an early morning hot air balloon safari over Amboseli, offering aerial views of the park, savannah, and wildlife below.

Later, enjoy a boat cruise on one of the park’s lakes or swamps, with opportunities to see birds and aquatic wildlife.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Naivasha & Crescent Island

Drive Time: Approximately 5 hours

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint.

Arrive in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely boat cruise to Crescent Island, a private island sanctuary often described as one of Naivasha’s best-kept secrets.

Lake Naivasha is part of the Great Rift Valley and is known for acacia trees, Mount Longonot, birdlife, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and other wildlife.

Day 7: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve & Evening Game Drive

Drive Time: Approximately 4 hours

Depart for Masai Mara National Reserve and arrive in time for check-in and relaxation before an evening game drive.

Masai Mara is one of Africa’s most famous protected areas and is known for the Big Five: lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino. It is also famous for the Wildebeest Migration, usually happening between June and November.

Day 8: Balloon Safari & Masai Village Cultural Tour, Masai Mara

Start before dawn for a hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara plains. The flight lasts about one hour, depending on weather conditions, and ends with a bush breakfast in the Mara.

After lunch, visit a Masai village to meet and interact with the local community, enjoy traditional dances, and learn more about their culture.

Day 9: Full-Day Game Drive, Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive across the Masai Mara.

The reserve is home to large herds of herbivores, cheetahs, leopards, and many other species. It has over 400 recorded bird species and is one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Mara River migration point, followed by rest and a late afternoon game drive.

Day 10: Flight Transfer to Nairobi & Departure

Start with an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast.
