Our safari begins with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy a scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside with stopovers for refreshments and photography.
Before entering the park, visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting guided rhino tracking experience on foot. This is the only place in Uganda where you can see wild rhinos in their natural habitat.
After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and check into your budget lodge or campsite. Relax as you enjoy views of the Nile and surrounding wilderness.

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive on the northern bank of the park. This area is famous for large herds of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. With luck, you may spot lions and leopards hunting in the golden savannah.
The park is home to Rothschild giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda Kobs, and many bird species. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Victoria Nile toward the base of the falls. This is one of the highlights of visiting Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, expect to see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species.
The boat stops near the bottom of the powerful waterfall, where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gorge before plunging 43 meters down with a thunderous roar.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
